The 540 Series is a classic wheel style that was originally launched in the late 1990s and quickly became popular on cars such as the E46 M3, Porsche 996 Turbo, and C5 Corvette. In 2018, to celebrate HRE's 40th Anniversary, the 540 mesh style was revived and re-engineered to be compatible with today's exclusive sports cars and SUVs, bringing back a touch of the 90s. The result is a better 540 series ready to take on the next 20 years. The FMR-X® barrels come with two lip profile options: Round Lip and Flange Lip. The Round Lip matches the traditional 3-Piece lip profile found on modular wheels, while the Flange Lip emulates a motorsport look and provides a more lightweight visual appearance with smaller highlights.
