AST roll cages come in a variety of options with 4 to 10 anchor points that can be bolted or welded to the chassis depending on the variant and vehicle. They are constructed with E355 steel main tubes that have a 45mm diameter, as well as secondary tubes with a 40mm diameter. The reinforcement plates for the fixing points are made of 3mm thick steel and are tailored to the specific vehicle for optimal safety and easy installation. AST roll cages are delivered unpainted and are designed for perfect fit and simple assembly using 3D laser scanner technology for precise measurements. There are several versions of AST roll cages available, with options for X or V design, cross or diagonal door and roof protection, "Nascar" style side reinforcements, additional bars, compatibility with a sunroof, rear anchoring points, and door configurations. Modification or removal of interior components such as the dashboard, door panels, trim, and rear seats is often necessary.
