Our piston manufacturer, CP Carrillo, is a subsidiary of the Austrian automotive manufacturer Pankl Racing, which is the only company outside of the factory F1 and Le Mans teams to produce components for those categories. This means that CP has access to leading technologies, which are applied to all Nitto pistons. This means that if you use CP Nitto pistons, you are benefiting from world-leading technologies and techniques. At a more technical level, all of our forced induction pistons are designed and manufactured with CP’s 2618 low silicone content Turbo HD forging. CP also provides premium equipment for bore sealing with their PVD Turbo ring sets, which use the latest technology to reduce friction and eliminate blow by, allowing your engine to produce the most power while remaining efficient. Additionally, our pistons feature CP 9310 wrist pins, which are Rockwell tested, case hardened, and cryogenically treated for improved strength and material grain structure. All of our pistons also have forced double pin oiling, anti-detonation features, and accumulator grooves. Furthermore, our piston designs have been validated by multiple world records across various categories.
