The 2JZ-GTE engine is compatible with NITTO I-beam connecting rods, which are designed specifically for extreme motorsport use. These rods are made from high-quality 4340 forged billet steel round stock and are lighter and stronger than traditional H-beam connecting rods. They also exceed OEM connecting rods in strength and durability. NITTO's one-piece round billet design ensures maximum strength through a uniform flow of material grain, unlike cheaper two-piece designs. Despite being more time-consuming and expensive to manufacture, NITTO's approach ensures the best connecting rod on the market. These I-beam connecting rods feature quality ARP rod bolts and silicone bronze wrist pin bushes for reliability and durability under demanding conditions.
